Isn’t Judaism the religion of the Jews anyways? How can ‘Jew’ mean a race and a religion, that’s just stupid. Christian doesn’t mean Caucasion after all…this is confusing.

There are indeed non-Jews residing in Israel (as well as Jews residing out of Israel), sorry but you can’t induct (I think is the word? :D) in this case. Personally, when I use the term “Jew” in many cases I refer to Israeli. Judaism is the religion of the Jews, but it doesn’t mean every Jew believes in Judaism. Like I said, “Jew” can refer to the Nation/Race or a person who practice Judaism. (Take note, to practice in Judaism you must be a Jew by Nation/Race or convert).
How can a Jew refer to a race and a religion? because there is the “Jewish People”, which is blood tie to a Jew, and there is Jew which refers to someone who practices Judaism (so a convert counts as a Jew as well).

Basically, since not everyone that is born to Jewish parents is religious, and converts don’t have Jewish parents, Jew can refer to a Race or to religious people that practice Judaism.

I don’t know proper Grammar, I’m just born to American parents, so sometimes I capitalize words that don’t need capitalization and vice-verca.

I hope I have answered all of these questions that bother you so much satisfyingly.
