I recently reformatted and reinstalled windows, but everything on my external hdd is set to only my old user being able to access it. How do I change the ownership of all of the files at once? Thanks

it’s easy to do, but instructions vary depending on what OS you are running
if you google it I’m sure you’ll get a step by step guide somewhere, so i don’t have to type one out
