Rofl. I use a lowly Acer + Windows laptop. And I laugh at all my classmates who use Mac, because I can play non-Mac games halfway through a lecture and they sit there and stare with their fingers flying all over that touchpad/fiddling with one button mouses.
Jokes aside, if you really really want a Mac, then MBP is just the thing, if you have the cash for it.

macbook, you need a apple branded screen (to achieve best color display), otherwise there’s no point of buying a mac for graphic/visualization softwares.

Haha, Apple and best screens. Good joke. Normal Macbooks+macbook air have the worst screens I’ve ever seen. Macbook pro is probably different, but there’s plenty of competition in that department. Nec, Eizo and Lacie offer monitors that equal or surpass the best apple has.
I’m waiting for the refreshed MBP. I have one for more than 3 years now and still works like a charm, apart from the battery, have to replace it.
I recommend buying the MBP if I was you, it just feels more solid.

MBP screens on 15″ and greater are good, 13″ MBP and all MP screens are as crap as any generic shit laptop.
OP, if your budget doesn’t stretch to a MBP with an i5 CPU, and you have to have a mac enjoy your 4 year old CPU
