what happens if you do
cd Desktop && ping tf2maps.net > tf2maps.txt
in a command prompt? (paste the contents of tf2maps.txt on your desktop to pastebin)
possibly a DNS issue.
how to check it in the future: down for everyone or just me?

i wouldn’t bother with that site, it doesn’t work properly. used it in the past, and it reports shit up when it isn’t (i assume because it has it cached, i don’t know what method it uses).
tried the refresh thing, didnt work.
Tried pinging http://www.tf2maps.net, it showed me that I couldnt find the host named that way!

very likely a dns issue then. what happens if you do
cd Desktop && ping 69.147.239.114 > tf2maps.txt
