HDMI doesn’t support 120hz I think.
Quality is exactly the same. Since its the same signal. But the HDMI standard doesn’t support 120hz.

you didn’t really include much detail
DVI/VGA > * for gaming. DVI because that’s what most 120hz monitors support and require… VGA because that’s the way you bypass post-processing on tv’s aka reduce input lag on consoles.
The only real benefit to HDMI, is that you can also take the audio through the same cable. Something you won’t care nor want over the 120hz, if we’re even talking about a 120hz monitor.

Nah not really. HDMI is DVI, they are exactly the same cable, just the physical connection at each end is different. I understand that the newer HDMI specs do things like HDCP, but they are all backwards compatible regardless.
If you’re talking about connecting a PC monitor with DVI and HDMI to your PC, just use DVI.
Yeah 120hz monitor.
