+1 to stalker, with some nifty mods which im sure exist and all the sliders on the max itll look as good as new – mainly due to the fact that its dirty, brown graphics dont outdate easily
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat, which is the newest one, would probably match the style of game you’re looking for. It isn’t as linear as Metro 2033 so the story isn’t there as much me thinks but the world and athmosphere are great and the graphics aren’t that bad honestly.
If you try this I advice you to go and check some of the more popular mods. Makes the game look a lot better plus other improvements.
Plus it’s another ruskie game so the gameplay is very much like in Metro 2033 (which can be a positive or negative thing :p)
