Suggestions for new SP game

After i completed Metro2033 (see: http://etf2l.org/forum/off-topic/topic-14923/?recent=258930) I would like another single player game to play.
I would like:
* FPS
* Good Graphics (2010)
* Good story
I don’t want:
* Nothing too realistic like MOH, COD, BF… i find them boring
* Not crysis or AVP!
* Not RPG/Fallout style
I liked the post apocalyptic setting of metro2033, but i doubt there is anything else that’s relatively new and like that (stalker looks pretty poor graphically now), so i’m open to all suggestions!
Any ideas?

Dead Space, F.E.A.R. 2 – Project Origin , Fallout New Vegas
Those 3 come to mind. Try Dead Space if you never heard of it/never tried it. Amazing game.

System shock 2. Dead space is yawnsome compared to ss2. Mod the graphics and they are high res enough.

Cryostasis, you’ll love it.
I would still recommend STALKER, even if it looks slightly dated graphics wise (depending on which one you pick, and even that can depend on wether you want to install mods or not). It’s a damn tense and scary game.
Would not recommend F.E.A.R 2 though, utter dissapointment compared to the first game.

Stalker is awesomeee, especially with some good mods. Lots of replay value there. Maybe not what nvc is looking for though (bit dated graphics and it’s pretty slow paced) :)
I too want more Metro, I guess that’s what Metro 2034 is for :p
