I forgot which I used, but I believe it worked before. What codec do you suggest?

Well you didn’t give us any information, so I was suggesting that maybe you’re trying to view lossless/uncompressed footage in vlc.. going on the screwed up visuals & that vlc claims its buffering.

I used PLDX with ‘hummy codec’ or something like that (can’t check right now) and it all recorded slowly (normal, right?) and saved the avi files normally enough, then I got this when playing it in anything.
