FIFA WORLD CUP 2018 Predictions Game sponsored by KEYS-STORE.COM

Since our beloved SonnyBlack is no longer pro-active in the community I will be running this year’s installment of World Cup Prediction Game.

So how does it work?

The rules are going to be the same as always.

Each day, you will be able to predict the scores for that day’s matches. You simply hit reply on the forum thread, type in your predictions and you’re done. All predictions must be received before the kick-off of the day’s cup matches, otherwise they will not be counted. All posts with predictions edited after the kick-off will be ignored. No exceptions!

How do I earn points?

The points system is very simple:
Correct score – 3 points
Correct result – 1 point

As an example, if I predict Egypt v Uruguay 2-0, and the score is Egypt 3-1 Uruguay, I get 1 point. If the score had finished 2-0, I would have received 3 points.

There are also bonus point competitions which are only open until 17CET on 14th June:

4. First Red Card (Yellow-Red also counts)

5. Player of the Tournament

6. Minute of the first goal

7. First team to have scored an own goal

8. Amount of goals disallowed by VAR

Unlike previous competitions you will not be given 10 additional points for guessing at least one of the above correctly.

Are there any prizes?

As of now there is a prize of 40 euros kindly provided by m0rg of KEYS-STORE.COM for the winner. There will be additional prizes for those who finish 2nd and 3rd, which will be revealed later.

The most satisfaction you’ll get though, is being able to gloat over everyone else in ETF2L.
