Should have been a red card. Refs should be stricter to fouls that clearly hurt people and less strict to fouls that are just technicalities. Football these days is 30 seconds of passing the ball and then a free kick, rinse and repeat. Should stop people from dropping to the floor from nothing.

Germany vs Spain, THAT match should have been the final, fair play and 0 cards. tbh I didn’t expect this dirty game by holland. I don’t know what i’ve watched today, a football match or a bruce lee film.

And for the people who says that this has been a shit match, you can’t play a “beautiful” match when the other team is making fouls over you again, and again and again.

Btw how does it comes that all the spanish people are cheering for a nation which they don’t want? Thought all the Basques and Catalans don’t want to be spanish?. Such a fake loyalty over there.

If I was a coach I would probably do it a lot worse. But at least I would forbid my players to act on the footballfield and I would make sure that whenever a player violates this rule he would be immediately exchanged.

I mean… What happend to the good old sportmanship?

I would rather lose a match with good sportsmanship then winning it by deceiving the referee.

They should act way harder on players trying to cheat their way through. It has to be a yellow card at least if someone tries this. Therefore off course, Damn dumb FIFA should allow electronic devices to help the arbitor.

Second thing that is ruining this sport;

WHY do they allow players AND coaches to try and manipulate a decision by the referee. I really can’t believe it, sometimes…, it’s 100% clear to EVERYONE that a ball passing the line would be a throw in for one team. But still, it doesnt matter how clear the matter is. These days, the opposing team will “allways” raise their arms and point it in the opposite direction of the referee.

I mean… is there even any sportsmanship left in this sport ?

when David Villa went down rolling around on the ground after absolutley nothing, I thought it was a great shame. I thought this was supposed to be a contact sport, teams at the top level are playing for free’s and trying to get people booked all the time. Its getting really frustrating to watch.
