You can use the drop down menu on the right to navigate to the sign up page.
Sign ups close at 8pm UK on the Friday, Aug 22nd. This should be just at the end of the TF2 group stages, which will start at 4pm.
Highlander Grand Finals should be being casted on the i52 stream on the Sunday. And I’ll hopefully be able to set up some quality casting during the event for group stages etc.
Also as a heads up there will be a Highlander HYPE CUP the sunday before LAN, streamed by GPS for LAN teams to play in and raise some highlander awareness ;)
Due to it being a pain in the ass to have your entire LAN roster online or to even know your entire LAN roster a week before LAN, each team can use up to 3 mercs.
I’ve just ordered 9 customised medals too.

The group stages will probably end much later than that, depending on how many games. With the plans for a group for the top eight, that’s 7 games. The numbers of games for everyone else isn’t set yet, and impossible to call without numbers (i’d imagine ~5-6 games on average at this stage). People should be prepared to play a game on Saturday morning if required. Hopefully, we’ll have enough results to make educated predictions on which teams will be elimated by Fri evening, but it might be worth pushing the close time back an hour if it helps more teams make a decision. Probably a review on the day thing!

I think by 8pm though, people will have like 1 game left and they will know or not whether they will be in or out of the 6s tourny.
But just to be sure ill move it back to 9pm, np.
Last year we had games on Saturday morning but that was mainly because the tournament started very late.

The i52 highLANder HYPE SHOWMATCHES will be hosted on Sunday 17th August at 6pmUK between a selection of Highlander Teams playing at LAN.
This will be casted.
Also, in other news. The i52 highLANder LAN tournament will not be hosted on LAN servers. It will instead be hosed on online servers.
This is due to there being limited LAN servers available and due to the firewall we are unable to externally cast the matches. So this seems an easy way around it, with a lot less hassle involved.

Decided to change it from a HYPE CUP to a couple/few of HYPE SHOWMATCHES between LAN teams on Sunday 17th 6pmUJ/7pmCEST
If your team is interested in playing in the hype showmatches. Either poke me on steam or post in this thread. Also make sure youve signed up on our website.

Yeah, last I heard before the Hype Showmatch, there were 6 teams.
aye ye 6 teams.
But hoping to get a few more once we are there. Hoping TC will enter too and then theres UKCS and hopefully some 6s teams that get knocked out in group stages. If we get 8 ill be happy, then we can have two groups of 4.
Anything more is a plus.
So yeh if you wanna play highlander sign up, you dont need to know your full roster, just easier for me! :D

Friday
9pm – Signups close 9pm after 6s groups get knocked out to maximise sign ups
9:30pm Group Stages posted
9:30pm+ Teams can play group matches late night fri if they wish
Sat
Group Stages Day, teams organise group matches when it’s convenient to play by adding the team leaders on steam/walking over to their seat etc
6:30pm – Group Winner Playoffs at 6:30pm for a space in the finals.
Sun
12pm – 3rd Place Consolation Finals
2pm – Grand Finals
