Thanks for ignoring the performance issues just to punish idlers Valve! Oh and thanks for even more unnecessary particle effects. Also, it’s nice of you to give VAC banned accounts halos too.

They should have better work for another class updates, fix bugs etc, insteed of spending huge amount of hours on deleting items from idlers and giving hats to rest. ;o

Because obviously, that would take days of coding…

Knowing a bit about how this works, the coding probably takes 3 hours, while the project-instance itself takes 3 weeks with everyone involved, adding up to 3 months in man-hours until everything is done for some simple shit like this.

If you think about it, the “idle program” showed up on steamforums a long time ago, so I’m confident I’m not that far off.

Now, all these people involved probably could’ve been assigned to more fruitful tasks. Valve most likely adopts something between a government-instance (from which I have professional experience from) and “home-hacking”-projects (from which I also have experience from).

3-6 weeks response-time is not all that bad in a project like TF2. Lenient bastards.

As a medic, I really hope they do give my blutsauger back tomorrow.
