It was good to meet you all and do the social thing as ever :) Just disappointed I had to leave yesterday! Wish I hadn’t now being as I ended up travelling for 8 hours and didn’t get in until around half past midnight.
mole, what headset did you use?
There was one left on the desk when i was packing up, i took it home with me thinking that it might be yours, but i also wasn’t sure if it was from multiplay as you did borrow the system. Anyway, i’ll post it or bring it to next lan (don’t mind which) if it is mate, just describe it or give me the brand name to confirm!

Oh shit, think it may well have been ziggy. Thanks for grabbing it, I can’t remember packing it away. It was a Plantronics one, GameCom or whatever model it was that replaced the Audio90’s?

It was at the Q&A multiplay thing, midas and I went down.
Midas asked if there was going to be prize money next time for TF2, both wizzo and redeye said yes.
Don’t know if it is on paper yet but i’d doubt he’ll go back on what he said infront of most of the i37 people

Yep the word on the street is that the prize money will be very nice + competative if the euros think of coming over ^_^ im sure para,xerox,waebi,viqun(and other euros) will aggree if the tournament is well organised will be epic! Always a great laugh, lots of drink and vomit dodging ;).

Is there any sort of confirmation on this? “TF2 will be prize winning” ….To my understanding TF2 has always been prize winning due to the tier system.
Now should we expect something a long the lines of I33 where the 1st prize was £1,500 or are we talking about a ‘different’ tier system.

Afaik tf2 hasnt been prize winning for the last 2? events.
And yep wizzo was watching us Dom on stage and has green lighted the prize money for next i-series.
The money should be along the lines of i33 and thats just multiplay donating on their own, i’ve been told they will hassle their sponsers and really try to push for more money/support as they were really impressed with the i37 showing (25? teams with no prizes is pretty decent).
