Problem with server

We use to have 2 different servers for matches. 1 for pcw’s (which is shit, but they’re our sponsor) – which seems to cause random-damage for what ever reason. The 2nd one we use for officials (if we play on our server) has the same setup installed and it calculates damage correctly.

I tested it with bots, on our pcw server a scout can do a 2hp hit, while 3 is minimum – a sniper headshot is 149 hp at times (not every shot). A Bodyshot can be anything between 40 and 50.

I’ve seen many people mentioning that now on our recruitment-post (lol) and our demo biester also said that his pipes seem to cause random damage. We use the normal etf2l cfg and the SOAP-DM plugin. I reinstalled the server and it still seems to have these problems. Is there a var that needs to be changed or why does it fail for this particular server? For our other squads, who use the same provider it works normally.

I agree it kind of sucks making less or more damage than the game actually allows. The companies support just says “LAWL MUST BE SERV0R-SETUP PROBLEM”. wtf, it’s empty.

If someone came across this problem, i’d appreciate some help

nvm, fixed by the provider. i can ask for what he did exactly if the problem occurs for anyone else aswell.

that wasn’t the problem, as i said it was the etf2l config running, which has this cvar in it. i have no idea what those idiots did but it seems to be fine now. unzoomed is 50 now in 100 out of 100 tries. And not 40, 51, 50, 50, 50, 45 etc.
