Once apon a time i had a lovely Logitech G15 keyboard. Things were good, i loved it and it loved me. But then one day i gave it a drink (read: spilled) and it didn’t like the drink very much and some of the keys broke :(. Since then i’ve been using a shitty dell clicky mechanical one. It’s been good for the past year but today i came across my old g15 in a cupboard and felt what it was like to push it’s buttons again. I remember it’s oh so useful macros and wonderous backlighting and lust for them once again!

Now i need help finding another keyboard. There’s so many on the market now it’s hard to tell which are shit and which are pure diamonds!

The logitech G510 and Razer Blackwidow look the most promising to me.

What keyboard do you use and would you reccommend it?

Get a mechanical one. I bought this shitty logitech illuminated keyboard and its not even a year old and its already starting to show wear (wrist support rubber is failing). My next keyboard will be one which I can smash into a wall without much damage.

Are mechanical keyboards like 120hz monitors?

I got myself a Cherry keyboard last year (a slim one) and I’ve been extremely happy with it. Though it doesn’t have any fancy functions like macros or backlighting, I do really recommend it.
