This was a bug which was introduced with version 1.3, and it was fixed with version 1.4.

So that is the only bug in the whole system then?

Don’t defend your mistakes, Accept them and move forward.

There are a few other bugs which are easily fixable, just by reading the Aequitas main page, but none of them causes as much problems as crashes. No other crashes while Wire is running than the upload thing have been reported lately.
The Aequitas developers are currently working on Aequitas 2.0 btw.

DBLOCKER:

should be a rule to install it on every matchserver, after a few tests though

Just a question. If Gryzor was banned for keeping the AC team busy for no reason, why the HELL is quad still banned then?

yes, but if it is a such a massive blocker how the hell was it not caught at a QC level, or does that not even exist at ESL?

Thread needs less aeuqitas fan-boyism, and more productive discussion.

Everything creative have already been discussed in the thread, the last 5 pages are only people talking in circles.

To Do List:
– Make collection of “cheat” videos
– Set proper rates in etf2l cfg, ie. updaterate 66 etc
– Make 2 seperate councils, no communication between those 2
– Get workin on AC tool, server side preferably, least player hassle (AC tool is good for facts, not for the ban itself)
– Make public appeal system (irc?), includes release of “ban” demo’s without ticks

Tbh the only ac program i would agree with is one that just takes screenshots, this would prevent wallhack. It is also less processor hungry because it doesn’t scan your pc for cheats in the background. This would stop a lot of crashes and sluggish pc speeds, the reason it shouldn’t perform invasive searches is because it is so easy to rename a cheat to something like mumble.exe (look at the famous vent.exe cheat from source) and they rarely catch anyone who has a braincell.

For the issue of client side cheats like triggerbot and aimbot, watching POV demos should suffice, to people who know what they are looking for its quite easy to see someone using an aimbot / triggerbot.
