For people that dont manage to do that you could add a helpful notice “read what’s written next to the ‘enter your steam id’ field”.

I think this is actually on the etf2l’s priority list, somewhere around #80. I’m sure the may get to it in this decade.
Did you intend to use a CAPTCHA implementation that can easily be cracked without human assistance, or is this part of a new kitchen sponsorship?

This is a stupid method to solve the problem. Solve it properly and do semantic testing instead of using a vulnerable CAPTCHA implementation.

actually I already did this “temp” fix on our Dev Site (funnily enough, before this thread was created even).
But as Chris correctly identified, it’s not the ideal approach.
It may or may not go live, really soon.

but have u tried a different captcha instead of using si-captcha-for-wordpress
like using recaptcha?
alternative is that in order to register an account here you must sign in via steam openid.
