PoV-Record [2.0.5] Working again

I got the same problem. I used to have P-REC set to prec_mode 3.
Ever since the Update on Sept 10 my hl2.exe crashed every time I tried to join a team (joining Spectator worked fine). I had the sneaking suspicion that it might have something to do with P-REC, but I tried refreshing Steam files and validating TF2 game files first… nothing helped until suddenly today things worked again.
But the first match I played didn’t get recorded, and when I checked I found P-REC had been reset to default (prec_mode 2) for some reason. If I keep it on mode 2, TF2 works, the moment I set it to mode 3 in the console, hl2.exe crashes. How annoying. :-(

My bad didn’t read… put “-insecure” in console and it seems to work now, but what exactly does this command do?
I heard -insecure is to load plugins that arent signed by valve, but can this give VAC ban or some crazy shit?

It blocking connecting to VAC secured servers(you can test local or on insecured servers), and enables you to load unsigned plugins. So you can run new test build

pretty sure this build is for testing purposes only on like local hosted servers etc since it isnt signed by valve yet.

Can someone test it on Windows XP? and x32 platform?
i don’t have any PC with XP, can someone test it? and i will send it to valve.
