Well, the plug-in still needs to be signed and considering Valve’s history with plug-in signing, I doubt they are willing to sign anyone’s but Orange’s code.

Take a look at OpenPlugin https://github.com/CasualX/OpenPlugin just add some event listener code and console command execution code and you will get new plugin for demo recording with blackjack.
P-rec source is 3.5 years old “spaghetti” code, and it won’t help you.
Have you ever considered asking Valve to implement the plugin into the game…? After all, they kinda have the code at their hands already.

I don’t think making the plugin is the issue – it’s getting it signed. How did you pull that off? :)
