ETF2L user names are now locked
From today onwards, user profile names on ETF2L can only be changed by admins. This change allows us to simplify the nickname rule and improve certain site features. If you wish to change your ETF2L profile name, please contact an admin using the support page.

We’ve been busy discussing some rules that need updating, here are the revised rules;
1.4 Every team has 1 Wildcard per season
Every team can use one wildcard in a season.
4.1.3 Golden Cap: Decider round in case of a draw
If the score is tied after the timelimit has been reached, a decider round (golden cap) will have to be played. The golden cap will be played with winlimit 1 and timelimit 0. The winner of a map that ended with a golden cap round gets 2 points, the loser gets 1 point.
1.10.2 Premiership players must use their real nicknames
All players who play a match in the Premiership division must play with their nickname on ETF2L. Team tags and sponsorship additions are allowed but the nickname must be the same as the nickname on ETF2L letter for letter. If a team uses a player who uses a different nickname the team gets a minor warning per player.
Please note the updated Golden Cap and Nickname rules do NOT affect the Highlander Season 6 Playoffs and Tiebreakers. For the remainder of Highlander Season 6 matches, the old rules are still in effect. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact an admin for clarification.

Premiership is indeed meant to only have 7 teams, there are no other teams we feel capable of prem that did not already decline our approaches. There is currently a team trying to form which may take that spot in the following days, but if it does not work Prem will simply play with 7 teams.

am i the only one who finds prem this season not interresting at all? sorry for saying it this way people who play in prem just my opinion….

TF2 must really be struggling at the top if we got put straight into Prem, half of our team never played above Div 3 – Also surprised we got in without a playoff, C.play and LES GUNSLINGERS are as good candidates as us.

I’m pretty sure that the other teams refused to play prem, so there was no one willing to even playoff for it. Maybe I’m wrong, but it was at least the case for some teams.

What’s wrong with the TC team? Only two of them have previous 6s experience, and one of them is playing medic…
From what I heard Strike are basically as competent as a pack of gibbons. The majority come from a lower level highlander team and although very nice people are not blessed with great skill. I don’t believe they’re overly keen either.
Since one TC team is in a division much higher than deserved (noobas), we had to compensate with TC Strike. Apologies.
