    I have had this electric kettle now for three months and there are pros and cons to this little kettle. The pros first…

    PROS: What I like about this kettle is that it boils the water quickly and takes up little space on my counter. I can get three generous size cups of tea with this filled to the top or four eight ounce cups. It also has an automatic shut off so I can leave the room and not worry about anything boiling over or burning.

    CONS: Even though I knew I would have to unplug it to take it from the counter to the table to pour the water into cups, I did not realize that the cord was so short that I would have to unplug it to have to pour the water into cups almost next to the kettle. This is a nuisance to have to unplug it and plug it back in constantly. Additionally, there are black spots forming on the heating coils on the inside of the unit where the water boils.

    Overall, this is an okay electric kettle. In my opinion it would be good for someone just starting out, however if you use hot water frequently, I would look for an electric kettle with more features and one that you do not have to keep unplugging and plugging in to use.
