    Dear teams,

It has come to our attention that team “My sons basketball team” has violated the pause rule during this match, as they agreed to pause the match during the second pause in Reckoner but unpaused the game without any warning or mention about it.

3.9 Teams may request a pause if problems occur

Teams may request a pause at any time during a match. Reasons for pausing can include:

    – Player drop

    – Server problems

    – The match is unplayable due to network issues

If you need to pause, you must clearly request a pause and give a reason for it (for example: “Pause please, player drop”). The other team is then required to pause at the first appropriate time (e.g. not in the middle of a push). Teams must pause within 15 seconds of being asked. Not responding to a pause request will lead to penalties like a minor warning accompanied with the forfeit of the round in question, or, in extreme cases, a major warning and forfeit of the map.

You may not resume the game under any circumstances without giving proper warning to the other team.

Each team has the right to one pause per map.

A minor warning will be given to “My sons basketball team” due to this.

Additionally, while team “Ora Elektro” had only 5 players in the match, a player from “My sons basketball team” had went to spectator at that point in time. While being in spectator at any point of the match is not allowed, it was still done in good spirit to keep the game balanced and without any actual malicious intention to have the same number of players in each team.

While we do not punish “My sons basketball team” for this, we want to remind that if one player does not want to play anymore for the rest of the match, they are encouraged to either stay in the spawn room or completely disconnect from the server, rather than join to spectate in the server.
