Sent in our proposal for Thursday, November 17th at 9pm EST! We can provide our server for the event, unless you guys have and prefer yours. Our server is located in NY, IP : 66.55.131.136:27015 (if there’s a password set, we’re probably practicing so just check it out another time).

Oops, my mistake, I pushed the date for the following Thursday night (rechecked the week schedules).

Just realized that’d be American Thanksgiving, which probably won’t work for some of our members. Well, let us know what you think and we’ll adjust accordingly. We prefer weeknights if possible.

I shall check, but there is no guarantee that weeknights will work for us.

  5. Default Date said:

Because this match has not been scheduled by either of the teams, a default date has been set for this match.
The default date is: Monday, 21 November 2011, 02:30
Please play this match on the appointed time and submit the results.

I don’t know about anyone else, but Monday at 2:30 doesn’t work for me at all. Plus, it doesn’t specify what time zone, whether it is AM or PM, etc. I imagine the majority of people either have work or school at that time, so we really need to work something else out if possible.

  7. Circles: [EBM] said:

Yes at 2:30 pm EST I will most definitely be at my job, working.

They’re giving us the time in CET (Central European Time) Guys. at 2:30 CET you guys on the east coast would be scheduled at 4:30 pm on Sunday (Where I’d be 6:30 all the way in CO).

If we can come to a tiny compromise with the other team then maybe this would work. We want to give everyone the chance to play after all.

    Hi teams!

Any chance one you have a status screenshot in which the default console font is used? Our parser has trouble reading the currently uploaded screenshot. Please upload here: http://etf2l.org/wp-admin/index.php?page=add_screen

    Dear Teams

In response to your match report I would like to clear a few things up:

    A) Yes this player isn’t registered on ETF2L therefore Free Frag Bag will receive a minor warning for using an unlisted player. In future if you require a merc HE MUST be registered on ETF2L. I must however clear up the merc rule –

1.4 One merc allowed by default and up to 3 mercs if the opponent agrees.

One mercenary is allowed by default and up to 3 mercenaries are allowed if the opposing team agrees. In order for your merc to be allowed by default, he cannot be more experienced than your team overall, and have no higher equivalent 6v6 experience (season 6 and earlier excluded). Experience in other leagues is included. Opponents can allow exceptions. For other mercs you will need specific approval from the opponent.
Please use the match page to present mercs and ask for allowance. Even the default merc should be presented, so that your opponents can make sure he is not too experienced. If you wish to contest the default allowance of a merc, please contact an admin (support page), so that he may decide whether or not the merc is too experienced.

Therefore had the player been registered on ETF2L he would have been allowed by default, however to avoid dispute you should give prior warning about using mercs via this matchpage.

    B) Not much you can do there except turn up on the default date. Sometimes you need to add people to steam and talk to them that way.

    C) I want to clear this up – SPAWN CAMPING is NOT against the rules on ETF2L. It is as you say a bit unsportsmanlike but it is also a legitimate strategy but usually teams won’t do it as there is actually a high risk of pushing too far and dying easily.

Flaming however is against the rules – if you can provide evidence via Demos or Screenshots of flaming from any team we will warn teams for flaming.

    Thank you.

Also can you add correct final score screenshot for Viaduct please.

  12. Squidward: FFFB said:

I will check if one of my members took a screen shot. Also Ninjaneer is SUPPOSED to be our teams engie. For some reason he isn’t on the roster. Am I still allowed to add him to it?

  13. Spike Himself: TC said:

Squidward: You are free to amend your roster at any time, but remember there is a 24 hour period after adding someone during which this person is “unverified” and will count as a merc in any ETF2L matches.

Also I understand the score was going to be switch am I correct?

  15. Squidward: FFFB said:

Fantastic grammar right there. The current 6-0 score is going to be switched in my teams favor, am I correct?

(note, FFFB was generally rude, but this is the only screencap proof we have)
