We did get cash, but unlike you we don’t play TF2 to fund our mustard addiction.. Anyway on topic, we’re postponing this game till vlad is back from China on the 2nd of next month.
Please remember that the match deadline for this match is next sunday.

Default dates can only be changed if one team uses a wildcard or if both teams agree to play on another date.
Since the match was already wildcarded, it would need both teams to agree on a new date. Monster Munch asked for the admins’ permission to play this at a later date, but they don’t seem to have proposed any dates since last week.
Joske, you had permission to schedule this for when vlad is back, but we can’t see any attempt to arrange a date with bb, so there is no reason not to play this match at the default date. I can understand, and I apologise for not being clear, if you feel hard done by for this.
vlad isn’t back till the 2nd of next month like I told you (see logs above).. what is the rush to get a date arranged if he isn’t back for another 12 days? If you want I’m sure we can schedule a date after the 2nd with BB if you really need a fixed day

a last advice: contact your next opponents to make sure you play them after 2nd of may.
I like how BB can take a wildcard when the match doesn’t suit them, but on a weekend of a prominent UK LAN, we won’t be allowed to? So actually.. we might as well look through the league time table for when a default date will be on a LAN weekend that our opponents are attending, and deliberately wildcard that match, forcing the opposing team to play on a default date that they can’t. Bad system ;)
Anyway, the admin has agreed. The admin did not mention that the game must be scheduled at a certain time. If admins are going to simply go against what they say because an admin in another team doesn’t like it, then you can consider us ‘dropped’ from this league.

joske, you already cost our whole team two evenings without showing up in both ETF2L and ESL. Marco tried to arrange a date with your team but all we got was a “i don’t give a fuck”. So it’s just your teams fault. Now, “we don’t give a fuck”.
Marco has tried it several times to contact you guys. Marco did the official contact way via the ETF2l site which you ignored. It’s just your fault. So, welcome to prem, get used to it.
This game won’t be rescheduled otherwise we’re dropping. Get some professionalism to the league and drop the unreliable teams.

ppl claiming us will just understand it when they’re in the same situation trying to contact another team multiple times with the only answer “I dont give a fuck”, wasting a lot of time with these guys and waiting on the server and they’re not showing up.

We have dropped from the league. Admins tell us we can reschedule and then suddenly revert their decision / invent an imaginary time frame that it needs to be rescheduled by, without telling us about it. We have our own opinion on why this is the case, and based on that opinion, we have decided we no longer wish to play in ETF2L.
Also, attempting to force a game to be played on 1) a UK LAN weekend, 2) Easter Sunday.. it was pretty obvious that this was not going to be played.

And no suprise… Xzr is being dumb… again.
The admins informed us that we could reschedule.
The admins then decide to change their minds.
If the admins told us that we couldn’t reschedule from the start, there would be no problems here. We couldn’t have played the match on the date, so we would take the default loss. It’s how the rules work, and we wouldn’t complain about that. This wasn’t the case however, we got the conformation, we even mentioned the date that we could play after, so the admins were fully aware of the situation and agreed to it.
We would have just taken the default loss and continued to play in the league, but after the turnaround, we decided we no longer wish to participate. Just to stress it again… we have no problem with the team claiming a default win against us. This is what we have the problem with:

We had the permission, but there wasn’t much point in scheduling a game to be played in several weeks time, so of course we made no effort to schedule it. We were also not told at any point that we needed to reschedule the game by a certain date, just told we had permission to do so.
It’s done now and the decisions have been made. Gratz and good luck in the rest of the season!
