We have a server located in New Jersey we can play on. I can give you information if you would like to check out latency. If you have a server, please do the same and we will try to pick the optimal location.

And as far as the time you proposed in CEST, i just want to make sure you all are aware that it falls on a friday night….

    Thanks…

    We’re aware of the timezones.

We also have a server (with SourceTV set up for spectators etc) at 208.115.128.10:27044 (password provided on request). Our server is on the east coast in Maryland and should have about the same ping as yours. I’m interested in your guys server information, but as long the server runs well and can handle 10-30 sourceTV spectators (we have quite few friends who wants to watch), it should work out fine.

We have a sourceTV relay on a alternate host to not bog down the main server, if there was any concerns about that.

Your server will work just fine. Can you please send one of us your server info and your SourceTV password? Thank you!

    Hello,
please confirm the use of the mercs or verify the result.
    Thank you

Yes, I confirm the use of their merc (RollingEye), we also had one merc (ajpc.Magus) and he is a registered etf2l member. Blood Feast Island Man has been a member of our team for months, and I am not sure why it is classifying him as a merc. I have a status screenshot taken while we were getting ready to start on gravelpit. And I dont think there were any player changes throughout all of the maps. Just let me know If I need to submit it.

Thanks for the URL for the STV demos, they should be pretty entertaining to look at. Hopefully all of the spectators enjoyed watching.

Yes, this was a very good competitive match, and I think everyone enjoyed themselves and had a lot of fun on our side. It really is a shame that we had to meet in the first round of the single-elimination. This was a pretty epic battle that made it to the tiebreaker map, and when I think back, both teams only had one bad round. AJPC on the 3rd round of viaduct, and TFPA on the 2nd round of gravelpit. Every other round I think was decided by several seconds if not less than a minute. The entire match lasted several hours, but you could say around 10 seconds decided the winner and loser when TFPA barely beat AJPCs stopwatch time of around 13 minutes on pl_upward.

Your scout was a beast, not only did he kill everyone repeatedly, he did all of the little things that help teams win. And your sniper was a pain in the ass who seemed to get me at the most random and inconvenient times. But I think your demo was your MVP, the amount of damage he put out was amazing, he had awesome DM skills, and he was almost never out of position so he stayed alive.

Good luck throughout the rest of the tournament…

I too confirm the use of the mercs by both teams. Our Merc RollingEye should be registered on TF2L for the team TFP-Beta, our second team that is now eliminated from the competition. Their Merc Margus is fine as well as Blood Feast Island Man wither he is on a team or not.

As a note to AJPC. You guys fought admirably and with honor. I never felt cheap tactics were being used and felt terrible using them against you (sorry for spawn camping on gravelpit) even if it helped us push forward. You were patient with the server which we appriciate as well as with myself and my constant crashing. No roster changes were made through out the match though while watching the demos you will notice myself drop six or seven times. This was due to some strange bug that would crash my game if I tried to change loadout or look at the menu or console. If I had to call anyone on your team your MVP it would be your spy or your sniper. During the time where we were all just messing around before that match on dustbowl our sniper got very worried in vent and demanded the Pyro and Spy “Take care of their sniper, I can’t take him”. As such he became a high priority target which may be why our sniper had a little more reign in the game. The spy disabled our engie to the point I don’t believe he managed to get a solid kdr.

The STV demos are by all means free for you to look at and download and that page will be updated with any matches we play that we can get a STV demo of. Feel free to check back and cheer us on. We will also continue to have sourceTV open on the server for any and all matches and encourage anyone who wants to watch to come. Cheer us on our hope for our demise, its up to you.

    GG HL
    Austin.
