Hey, there. This is our first match. What do you need from us? Shall we use your sever or ours?

    Thanks!

We have a server in kansas city, and a server in new jersey….there seems to be less lag on the new jersey server.

    Rounding up our wet cats!

Oh, your server works great. The less-laggy one :)

All mercs must have an ETF2L account. t0s. SteelToes, Colonel Caoimh and n McHart do not have ETF2L accounts. If they play again like this then you will automatically lose any game they take part in, this is your final warning. If you intend to use them as mercs you must get them to register on the website!

SnowiE: The only merc we had playing for us (AJPC) was ardent960 who is registered here. Team Freze had all of those players and I think more that are in question. I tried to contact an admin on the etf2l irc channel with no luck.

I accidently submitted the scores incorrectly.

I am going to post my match report that I tried to resubmit below.

    AJPC defeated Team Freze 2 – 1 on cp_badlands
    Team Freze defeated AJPC 4 – 1 on cp_granary
    AJPC defeated Team Freze 2 – 0 on cp_gravelpit

AJPC had one merc under the name of JagdScout.
Team Freze played with four or more mercs, throughout all of the maps. Team Freze was also over 45 minutes late to start the match at the agreed scheduled time.

I am not sure if we were supposed to play best of 3 on gravelpit. Team Freze all said gg and started quiting the server after we attacked all three cp’s in 4:27 and then defended B and C before the stopwatch’d time. I was only able to get a screenshot as the round was over and the scoreboard only reflected a score of 0 – 0 as shown in the picture above. We (AJPC) were ready to continue play, in case the conditions we met were not sufficient in an official complete round. As Team Freze departed the server.

I am uploading the results for a second time since I think I accidently read the instructions wrong making the end result incorrect.

It should be AJPC defeats Team Freze 2 – 1.

    GG

    Thanks.

Snowie: we will do that, thanks.

Rodney: We didn’t leave until the match was lost. In the third map, we were unable to beat your time. The match was complete at that point as far as I know. Correct me if I’m wrong (which I could be as I’m not 100% familiar with rules, both our leaders were out last night). You guys all said gg too. I even stayed later than my team and chatted a tad, and NO ONE on your team expressed this concern to me. If you did, I would have brought our team back. You thought the same thing we did.

Trust me, if we thought it was best of 3, we would have stayed. We don’t want to lose.

Also, you guys are counting Colonel Caoimhin McHart as two mercs, he is one person.

We had 2 mercs in first map.
    2 mercs in 2nd map.
    3 mercs in 3rd map.

Also, we do appreciate you waiting for us. We didn’t know about the match until an hour or so before it started. We have not had this problem in our previous matches; we’ve always been on time. We’ve waited on many teams before. And when it came time for us to need a break, we’d appreciate the same courtesy.

And to be fair, you guys weren’t a full 9 for those 45 minutes. And between maps there was waiting on both sides. In other words, why complain about this?

  9. Digresser: |HIGA| said:

Sorry, Fixhotep. We’re not trying to complain, just attempting to show we tried to follow the rules. This was our first match and the e-mail we received about a “final warning” worried us. We now understand that it was solely in regard to your team’s misunderstanding about registered players. We were fine waiting for your team to get your players together, and we were equally confused about gravel pit.

That said, please know that we had a good time playing against you. Your team did very well, especially in light of your missing players (not to mention the Steam difficulties which caused delays on both sides).

Thanks again for the match, and good luck in the Highlander Challenge!

Thanks Digresser, we appreciate it. We had a good time too. It was our first loss since our first match (in which we were terribly disorganized) so it was nice to play a team that put up a good fight. And that you did.

I’ll hope for a rematch down the line.

    We’ll see you soon!

By the way, your sniper was a pain in my ass.
