GG guys - best game i think weve played so far in the whole of etf2l!!
note: only got the screenshot from the freight golden cap as there was a wee bit of a complication and we had to play the golden cap after we played the original maps
km mercs were allowed by snuke!

I don’t think I could survied a golden cap. Was neck and neck up until the last 5 minutes. vgg and your scouts pretty much raped us :P

Hi,
Looks like a great match was played here. Unfortunately I am the bearer of bad news and I have to inform you that since the rules have not been followed correctly there is still a little more life left in this game yet.
Every map in the 5th cup can only be won or lost, there are no draws. Therefore, we will need you to play a golden cap round for each of your drawn maps. If the golden caps end 1-1, then the third map should be played. Again, this would have a golden cap if it was drawn.
Please schedule and play these golden caps as soon as possible. Your result of your match will hold up the next round’s game from being played.

I know it sounds like its bad sportsmanship to play the golden caps but it really isn’t – plus you only need to win one whereas we need to win two. At the end of the day they should have been played during the game.

Just to confirm what has been agreed:
Suitcase nuke won the deciding round of this on Badlands 3-2, so this result will stay.
A golden cap round needs to be played for cp_freight and cp_gravelpit. I would suggest on Gravelpit if you are unable to decide who goes red and who goes blue, that you have a heavy fight to decide who chooses :)
To win the match: Suitcase nuke need to win 1 golden cap, k^m would need to win both.

Haha these gc rules are odd, the whole game is going to be decided with a pot luck middle battle, k^m have got to be the favourites now.
But whatever happens, I’m well chuffed we managed to match (and win on one map!) a respectable div3 side in an official.
Should be a fun 20 minutes!

It’s a shame that 2 hours of play go for almost nothing but I guess rules are rules. IMO it would be best to play this tonight, just depends on if people are going to be available and whether mercs will be needed.

I don’t think it was sportsmanlike to bring up such a petty occurence, but seeing as that’s how it has been and taking advice from a hypocrite would be futile it wasn’t sportsmanlike to say “lol” when I fail to make you uber flush.
