After getting no response from any of you on irc the past 4 days or so, guess i’ll just post here :)
We would like to play this match sunday the 11th at 21:15 CET. Does that work for you guys? If not, when can you play? (need to know today)

Monday wouldn’t work. I’m not sure about wednesday either, need to check with our demo. What about thursday?

Well, slight problem. Monday we’ll be missing our demo, wednesday we’ll me missing two scouts. Tuesday we’ll be missing one scout and thursday i’m not sure of yet (will probably know soon, but need to know how this works for you). So only day that would technically work for us is most likely sunday the 11th, which is also the default date. So need to work something out here :P

What kind of problem? Our problem atm is that our main scout most likely won’t get his internet fixed til this weekend and i can’t get ahold of our backup scout when we need him :P

Well problem here is that the match deadline is sunday. Afaik we can play any day next week, but the match can’t be played later than sunday due to the rules unless you guys wildcard it.

No, if you guys agree, we can play any day next week:
“If a match is not arranged by the schedule deadline, admins will decide a default match date. After that, match date can only be changed if both teams agree on another date or if one team takes a wildcard.”
Just remember, that YOU were not able to play on ANY day last week except sunday. This made it so hard to find a date, wich fit for both teams.
So we agreed to play on sunday, because we didnt want to get you into trouble. But now it turned out, that both of our scouts cant play on sunday.
It would be very kind, if we would reschedule this match.

Yes, that means the match can be set after the schedule deadline any time within the _match deadline_ which is this sunday. Which means the match cannot be played later than tomorrow unless someone wildcards it.
And don’t get me wrong, we are more than happy to move this match til next week. But the rules as far as i can see imply that this is not possible. I might be wrong, have an admin verify the rules. If it’s fine with an admin, afaik any day next week is good for us.

eMpathy| illii: if a match for week 1 in etf2l needs to be played after the match deadline runs out, does one of the teams need to use a wildcard in order for this to happen? as there must be some kind of rules around the word “deadline”? else i dont see what the wildcard is for tbh

Thing is I can’t find out till monday if that date will in fact work for me. If I have your written word that in the event it proves impossible for me to play the match be moved to another day (once again, yes), then we’ll schedule it for wednesday. If I’d known sooner that we’d need to reschedule I could have found out sooner but alas. Wednesday “should” be fine but I’m reluctant to say it will be for definite as I’m just starting year 1 at uni so my schedule is all over the place.
