1.4 Match schedule and deadlines

Late matches are not allowed – any games unplayed after the deadline will be defaulted. Matches may be played on the day of the deadline. Teams may agree to play their matches early.

Matches may be played on Fridays, Saturdays or the Sunday of the following week if both teams cannot find a suitable date in the current week. Contact an admin to see if your match is eligible first, do not schedule matches outside the week on your own.

1.5 No wildcards are to be used!

No wildcards will be given to any team. Therefore please ensure that when you schedule a match you are available to play. This is why it is also important to have multiple subs registered on the team, so that you can still play if a player doesn’t show up.

1.6 Only mercs verified by an ETF2L admin can be used, even if opponents agree! All players that wish to play must be verified on the teams roster!

If a team uses a player that is not registered on their team in a match, ask them to leave. If they refuse, contact an admin. If you use an unregistered player, your team will forfeit each map you use them on, even if the other team allows the player. If you wish to use a merc, please contact an admin who will verify the legality of the player and add them to the roster.

1.7 Teams with 2 default losses will be expelled from the tournament

If a team receives a second default loss, they will be expelled from the Group Stage. A default loss during the Playoff Stage will eliminate your team from the tournament.

1.8 Dropped teams’ results will be removed

Results of a dropped team will be ignored on the tables if the team has not played all of their Group Stage matches.

2. 9v9 Highlander Rules

2.1.1 Gamemode: 9on9, classlimit 1

The Highlander gamemode is played 9on9 with a general classlimit of 1. While classlimit 1 is not forced by the config, teams are expected to follow the classlimit at all times during the game. Switching classes to change spawn room is allowed.

2.1.2 Rosters must have a minimum of 9 and a maximum of 20 players

The roster must consist of a minimum of 9 players to be eligible for participation in the Highlander Nations Cup #4. Teams must also adhere to a maximum of 20 players or risk losing their right to participate.

2.1.3 Minimum of 8 players needed to play a match

A team needs at least 8 players on the server to start and play a match. If your team is not able to field the minimum amount of players the match will be defaulted in favour of the other team.
