Tried it in pcw\'s tonight, jumps are alot harder and need some practice, especially when under pressure. Granary jumps only really problematic on 2nd point, badlands is pretty much a nightmare from the start, freight is alright, but gotta watch out for the gates/stairs.

I think the gun offers a lot more potential and finally being able to clear enemy stickies as a demo is really nice. The extra priming time however makes it a very defensive weapon, although you can still semi sticky spam, its just not as effective and fighting off scouts is almost impossible without using nades or having preped stickies.

Although some sort of sticky jump/blowing all stickies fixes would be nice, I think overall it would just cheapen the weapon and make it superior to the old one. Needs a lot more skill to use but I think it could become pretty popular once people learn how to use it well.

The new sticky launcher is awesome, was actually waiting for something like this. Different groups of stickies provides more options as well as more micro management than you could have with the old stickies. Perfect for true area denial and mind games with multiple players approaching from different directions. Also makes the demoman more defensive than it was before just hope the controls are good enough and sticky jumps aren\'t harder to pull off with the extra delay.

Ino, that is a \"fix\" to the sticky bomb launcher where you could hold a fully charged sticky in the launcher if you held right click after its fully charged. Sadly this been around since the launch of tf2 and noone thought of it as an exploit, neither was it gamebreaking. Since you could only hold one fully charged sticky and any traps you had would be detonated when you would attempt to hold it. So in my opinion they shouldn\'t have made any changes to this as it was fine in the first place. It\'s not like you have to shoot instantly when the power bar fills up on a sniper :S Valve seems to find stuff that ain\'t broken and claim it was an exploit all the previous times it was around.

Unless valve get involved and actually want to make old demos work, which i doubt due to numerous map changes etc... the only other way is downloading pirated tf2 versions and updating them manually patch by patch to get the demos working. Sadly that\'s the only way if you\'re serious about watching old demos.
