Some companies do that? Forcing people to use shit software sounds like a retards idea tbh
I would understand if it were software that only they had, but still. Something as simple as a browser?
I assume that in a corporate environment it\'s irrelevant whether the software is good or not - as long as it\'s \"out of the box\" and ready to use with minimum configuration and support.
[...]
Why would you wait for IE10? To laugh of microsucks incredible skill to make shitty browsers?
I can see your point, and there\'s even a quote from 1998 to help you make your point: \"Sometimes we do get taken by surprise. For example, when the Internet came along, we had it as a fifth or sixth priority\". Which explains a lot.

Regarding the browser itself: it won\'t be no chrome - that\'s for sure, however since ms attempts to integrate web-dev client-side, there\'s a lot of focus on developing the browser at the moment, and hopefully this will turnout well for them.

It\'s because it was called \"AFS\" and not \"season 8\" that made it a disaster, not the other way around.
Trip to lan sponsored by ETF2L please?
Err?

ETF2L is a community powered website, it isn\'t some wealthy org, that can afford that sort of stuff unless sponsored by someone and we all know that isn\'t happening any time soon.

Note that a top team that is capable of winning tournaments at a top level can surely find a sponsor to help them out with lan support anyway. So it is possible to arrange a match for two top teams.

But, keep in mind that a team which made it to the finals of an online tournament might not necessarily make it to the finals of an offline tournament. In that case a final of an online season should be played in-between the lan itself. Which is retarded to say the least.

It\'s very good, although it depends on whether you\'re into RPGs. The story sucks you right in. I played it quite a while ago and I still remember parts of the game.

It does have it\'s disappointments at times as well. As an example: you gather the mystical shards of a powerful sword which is the key to destroying the King of shadows. Gathering them is a pain in the ass. Then you manage to combine the shards back into that powerful sword, and realize it\'s quite shit. Fuck.

Totally right about what? About the obvious catering to pub players? It\'s like you wanted to answer to someone else\'s message, but typed in my nickname by mistake.

Just read the first two replies you\'ve got, counters any argument you have (not that you\'ve brought any valid-ones). A mod will accomplish nothing, and cut any possible inflow of new players into the competitive scene (and there was an inflow due to the highlander tournaments I think, which are crucial to this community if it wants to have a bright shiny future).
Saying TF2 is not an game for Esport because it was originally made for pubbers is dumb. I find you trolls as pathetics as people saying \"TF2 is dead\".
Well, at least I don\'t need a green marker to help me differentiate between a player and a wall.
I am going to abuse the fuck out of that pic now.

If that is directed at me even partially, then you misinterpreted what I had to say. Let me spell it out for you: it was more beneficial for Valve to take tf2 in the direction of this more casual multiplayer-shooter. Which pushes any competitive thoughts off the stage (unless there\'s a very easy way to get into competitive, like, lets say, 9v9) and what we get is a title driven mostly by hats, or so it seems from a pubbers perspective.

That is only a single opinion. It might be dumb from your perspective, but it\'s not as dumb as, for example, this
