Gaz, I\'m sure theres plenty of people here (myself included) who\'d love a theological debate on the topic.

However a gaming forum is not the place for it, if for no other reason that the vast majority of people don\'t know enough about it or are mature enough to do it. I direct you to this \"sad, but funny-cause-its-true\" video to explain why:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RycwYRcm3Lc
A gaming forum isnt the place for a discussion, but in most cases OT forum is. As for the video, funny as true as it may be I was just wondering for some opinions, especially from here since this is my main source for the european opinion about whatever. Im not an idealogist or anything like that but its just that this time I found myself interested in knowing what do people think about it. But its not like everyone needs to comment and express an opinion. most even dont have an opinon. I didn\'t think that somthing as simple as that could go anoying and make me write this shitload of useless text.

And besides, what\'s there to discuss? It\'s news, read the papers and wait till all the facts are known. No need for every side to claim that this confirms their belief that the other side is indeed evil.
Papers never to seem give the facts as it seems, and for some reason I acctualy started caring and tried to see what can I do regarding about that.
It can be nice to have a discussion with somone who has the excat other opinion other than yours but is alittle more sophisticated than \"KILL ALL JUICE\"

and @ Inzomnia, most of the people are supposedly mature and a bit educated. If lots of people could make excelent hatefags im sure they could also discuss if they only wanted to. Plus,I recall seeing politic threads a year ago or so..

Dude I didnt play competitive cod4 for the same reason. I can understand them removing things like martyrdom, triple frags, and rifle mounted nade launchers. Or maybe even removing the auto snipers.
But to limit the game to essentially 2/3 weapons is kinda pathetic. Personally it just goes to show \'pros\' are never happy until they can guarentee they have exactly the same shit as another person, this is how they show how skilled they are I guess. Personally I feel it shows far more skill to out wit and out play your opponent by adapting to their weapon, playstyle etc.

Also I believe the lack off crosshair is to discourage hip firing as its not quite as inaccurate as its made out to be. I personally prefer the ironsights to most of the attachments anyway so nocrosshair isnt a problem for me :P
The reason for the game modes is probably due to time on each mode, ease of play and which is the most popular. 5CP is the most popular mode on tf2 but its in no way the fastest.

Anyway TLDR - CoD games are basically aim only games, where strategy and tatics come second and outplaying another person comes down to who saw the other first.
This comes from someone who thinks the MW series is awesome, but I refuse to play beyond public due to \'pro\' mentality which ruins any variety in games.

ps. TF2 seems to be a sort of exception hence why I try and play it competitively :D

This is the off-topic section, so people are allowed to ask questions like this here, however I do agree with you. Why bother asking in ETF2L? On the logical side of things, you would have more answers asking at a Modern Warfare 2 forum, would you not?

Anyways, my view on this is that it\'s kind of a promod as such? the rules kind of form a manual promod, imho

A few reasons:
-I\'ve seen a few topics talking about mw2 so I thought pepole who played competetive @ other games will probobley try mw2 also. guess I was wrong.
-its one of the few abroad forums im still active at and its nice to get some opinion. also there are some pro\'s hidden around here so I thought I might get an answer here. I dont see how it bothers you.
