Thanks Buffalo - CiC is 12 years old so i am kind of experienced at running clans, but we have struggled with some of the smaller squads recently as you tend to recruit a couple of friends into your team and then one gets annoyed so you lose multiple players.
Evan big community clans like CiC have trouble with new squads and so i think the advice should be \"dont give up after a few loses or leavers, clans have natural lulls so dont panic\"

My question for you Mr Fish is as follows and is more about clans/squad/communities.

How would you suggest building a new squad/clan in such a way that it doesnt collapse in a heap after a couple of loses?

What are the basic requirements for the squad, like server, mumble or website etc?

How big should a squad be considering the 6 person teams in leagues?

Lastly - when are you coming home to CiC you old git!

Hi all, CiC is a gaming community that is now over 11 years old playing multiple games in many leagues etc etc blah blah.
We currently have 3 TF2 squads and would like our CSS squad(s) to get going again.
We have 4 tf2 and 1 l4d2 server plus i happen to be in charge of CSS at Wireplay so we can run publics etc without problem.
What i am looking for is people who actually want to be part of a larger community, this isnt about 1 single game or just playing to win, this is about being part of something.
What we are looking for is people who want fun, skill level isnt an issue, but i would like us to make our CSS squad active (although there are spaces in tf2 too if you like that). We have teams who play for fun or play to win or a mix of both.
What you get is access to a big and old clans resources which include servers for game and mumble and ts3 etc and you get to play many various games if you want ( we have people playin WOW and tf2, css, black ops, codX, quake, bf and any wierd stuff thats around.
If you feel like you want to be part of something bigger and hang around with people who enjoy community and having fun (yes even music quiz\'s on mumble) then get yerself along to http://cic-clan.com/forums and register yourself.
We have a fair few part time CSS people who would love to play pickups and stuff so come on over and be part of something.

No twats allowed, leave ego at door. Bring sense of humour.
English is the primary language but we have people from all over the worl in the clan. We are just looking for regular activity in whatever game/trolling you want.

11 year and counting
CiC - goats need lovin\' too

Lo all tf2 peeps, yes i am in CiC Tf2 but i also run Wireplay CSS community.
The recent obox updates have severly screwed up the CSS world and in an effort to make sure Wireplay CSS keeps going (long history in games yarder yarder) i am asking for some support to our css servers.
Currently we are just running a Gungame server but i am about to launch several new servers and i am asking for ideas for mods.
So if you wana get drunk and play gungame pop over to:
94.136.46.16:27030 GunGame |[Kx] SM:GG| WireplayUK
or come over to the forums and suggest some stuff we can do.
CSS has 3 donated community boxes, all 2x dual opterons with 8gb ram so we have capacity to do almost any mod CSS can offer.

Yes i know its not tf2, but tf2 aint tfc (which i loved dearly) so come help support wireplay who just do this for you the gamer.

cheers

CiC is over 10 years old and now and then needs players, especially in the summer. This is one of those occasions.
If you want some fun, join a community of gamers who play pickups and mixes, leagues and ladders then maybe you should check us out: http://cic-clan.co.uk . Join our forums and start talking, we play so many games and are involved in Wireplay/ETF2L and other leagues as well as having admins and refs from all over.
I am looking for people to join ventrilo, play games with us, we even have a music quiz.
We use a lot of irc and ventrilo so come over and see us, there is always space for more people to join the fun #cic on quakenet.
This is about people who want to be in a community and interact with other people especially if you enjoy talking to people and having a laugh.

cheers

mani is simple to install and use and has the basic functions that other mods crash with or dont have in a form you need.
