And how was your experience with those CPU? I mean some fail or Smth? If I go next year ( I cannot this year) I\'d like to bring one to my seat :)) but in the web says that I have to pay 200£ extra, but
They gonna refund that deposit at the end of the LAN?

And imagine that I payed the ticket, if I couldn\'t go , I could get a refund or Smth?

Thanks for ur time :)

Pd: curiosity, how money u bring into LAN
Yeah, the deposit £200 means you get it back at the end assuming the computer is returned in the same condition.

If you buy a ticket, you can get a refund minus £10 admin fee up to 30 days before the event. After that i\'m not sure, if it\'s sold out and you can get someone to buy your ticket then I think they will refund you then. I\'m not sure otherwise.

I don\'t think there\'s actually anything on there.

Always seems variable when they announce PC rental stuff. I know the ticket was over £100 with PC Rental in before, but I really don\'t remember how much. They\'re charging £55 for the TUP (but can\'t enter the TF2 tournament with that).

I\'m stupid, I can\'t read the tables. The only flight I can book on Thursday is the one that lands around 23:30 GMT - doesn\'t really suit me. Unless I could spend a night on the camping site in a tent a night before the event, then sure, I\'d take the chance, but otherwise, my question still stands. Thanks for clearing it up though, train tickets from London are seven times more expensive.

I\'ve not camped for the last couple of events, but I think they check wristbands now to the campsite so you wouldn\'t be able to do that.

Could see if anyone with a hotel room will let you steal some floor for a night?

Colonslash want to sit back to back of each other
The squares are computers back to back, so if you want to be back to back then sit one line with the gap line between and then the other row on the next block.

(How you\'ve done it now is correct).

From i43, i\'m pretty sure the 3 halls were all next to each other.

iirc:
i43 had Gaming Hall 1 - Hall 2 (TF2 here) - Exhibition Hall
i44/i45 had Exhibition - Gaming Hall

My guess is that it will be Exhibition - Hall 2 - Hall 3 (TF2)

That might not be right, but i\'d be fairly certain in my assumption that they\'re all just going to be right next to each other again.

Any idea how long we still can wait ? :) Like a number of tickets sold already?
I think in the IRC channel the bot will tell you how many tickets have been sold.

There was a 30% discount (so £64.40) on the first 500 tickets, since it\'s down to 20% now i\'d expect they\'ve sold atleast the 500 then, and probably another 100+ in the last week or so.

They will make lots of posts if ticket numbers are getting low (like only \'200 tickets left\' sort of thing) so keep an eye out, but I suspect you\'ll be fine for a while. The 20% discount only goes until June 6th however.

Could this be run over the weekend somehow? As in, rather than saying \"5pm Sunday start\"...

Close signups Friday evening and just ask for groups to be done by X on Sunday (like 2pm or something? - judge this around the finals really, hopefully we can be a bit later on/prime time for i46) and just be flexible about it. I can see this might be a problem if there\'s a significant mix of players (from diff 6v6 teams) in highlander teams though. Variable with how far teams get in 6v6 as well. It\'s largely a shite idea when I think about it...

By Sunday people always seem quite half-hearted about the fun tournaments, and to get a reasonable amount of games in for this they will need to be started a bit earlier.

What I think i\'d prefer as format is just doing a round-robin. Roughly seed teams if possible into different groups so you actually get good games. I always feel hugely sorry when the \'fun\' tournament games end up being rolls because a lot of them are community teams etc. That might make it a bit more enjoyable for a Sunday.

I realise seedings are hard to judge, afterall we did beat infs on hydro :D
