I used to do a lot parkour when i was in my mid-late teens but I soon came to realise that unless you have a gym with the right facilities, you have to go and practice on the street. There\'s something a little weird about a grown man vaulting over rails and climbing on bus stops when you are still learning. It just looks like you are reckless or drunk.

It\'s fine if you are awesome at it, or young, but I can\'t say i\'m particularly either, so therefore I stopped and bought a pair of powerisers a few years back instead. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1O1YaD-Gpw

Now I just look like a big kid but I look damn cool being one!

* it\'s not me in the video.
I practice parkour during the summer (mainly because of asthma) and I can tell you no one is more impressed then seeing a guy pulling medicore moves then this :)
I\'ve had people nearly driving their cars into ditches when they drive past me practicing (and I\'m by far good compared to these traceurs)

If you go into the definition, there is no good or bad in parkour. The ultimate measurement of accomplishment should be your own! Parkour is an awesome way to train up your confidence, in everything. By setting small goals and accomplishing them you can recover from almost anything and personaly I wouldn\'t mind seeing parkour practiced more then the so called psychiatrics (personal opinion).

I\'ve never met anyone who ridicule me for practicing this, I\'m more met with admiration and respect for actually following something I love. Besides, if you like to lift static weights in a sweaty gym go ahead, personally I find the outdoors much more satisfying.
You train your whole body and mind.

I have a HD4890 and I used to have that problem exactly. The problem is that the Graphics card resets itself, it has this overdrive (cant remember exactly what happends) thats supposed to prevent bluscreens on an overload.

So far the info I\'ve gathered suggests that the HD4870-90 cards get problems when it has a dynamic Mhz usage on the card. It can happend when your game switches from a 2D / simple textures or less demanding areas of a map to a higher requiring game part often it will crash your game.

What you could do is use the override in ATI catalyst to fixiate the clock rate to about 500-600 MHz and see if that fixes it.

I still have problems with my computer crashing randomly and looping sound requiring a manual restart. But I dont know if thats my ram or my graphics drivers.

I had a similar threat on my computer, pretty much fits your desciption only a little less aggressive.

My point is that this is probably not a virus, rather then some type of Malware. I would try Hirens boot cd, or find a suitable app and registry scanner witch can determine all the apps and exes running on your computer.

Also try a rootkit remover.

So yes, addapt to the new things and get used to it. I have played few matches now against FaN scouts and I absolutely see nothing wrong with them. Yes you might sometimes die to 2 good shots but you can also die to the 2 good scatter shots. And most times I\'m sure that I would have died if the scout would have had the scatter and not FaN.

I used to think that too when I first encountered FAN scouts, \"No way it should be banned!\". I thought people were being prejudice, which they were, and that gave me a counter reaction. It was close to call, but too early to say. You can read my posts defending the fan on this thread :P

But just when you think you get used to it, you\'ll have a match against scouts that can actually use it... Then you try to get around the FAN, trying different tactics, failing again and again. There\'s just not enough control or health points to counter it.

I realized I was wrong, you can\'t adjust to FAN on a high level of play, and it really is sucking the fun out of it. The prejudice people were right, this time. It\'s not game-breaking, but since the ban is so easy to enforce, it should be done.

I can accept that the next season is played with FAN allowed, but after that I definitely want people to reconsider the ban. Wouldn\'t hurt if only div1 clans could vote on it.

Props for a great post. FAN takes out a great portion of the duels i used to enjoy a lot against other scouts. For some reason the fan changed all that, making me have to play mostly hit and run tactic not to get blown up in the air within two seconds.
