If you read this thread, you\'ll find that most of that players, you are talking about, are against the static damage plugin. Of course, if it will be released, tested (very carefully) and approved by League, than I will say you\'ve done it very well...

The plugin automatically takes the middle value of the random damage, and I don’t see any problem with that.

Who said that it should be the middle value? Weapon damage system - is a very important part of game balancing. And no one, exepting Valve, can change it. It is not like removing crits, damage system lays deeper than you imagine. Valve created the game, and only they can bring the static damage into TF2. IMO, of course...

One solution could perhaps be to place more medpacks around the map or perhaps come up with some way to uber yourself without a medic (like the pentagram in old quake..).
If so, then the game will revolve around that medipacks and pentagrams. :) Medic and his uber is TF2 indeed, so please stop climbing about that...

There are no perfect ways to determine your skill. One good player can do nothing for his bad team in TF2. Ability to teamplay, movement, aiming, brain turned on ect. - that is your skill.
One thing I must say.. The score board never represents how good a player is.
Oh, no! I thought medics are the best players of the world... :D

\"well, well… how about set class limits off then? class limits are the way to play the game as we want it to be :-P\"
Not it all. :) Every game have their own limitations for competitive playing. Look at CSS or COD for example. The point is, there must be a line we should not break. It is clear that Kritzkrieg banning is not a thing that must be done without breaking a line. ;)

the only way to encounter a well organized Kritzkrieg opponent is to make the Kritzkrieg-Charge faster than them and get them before they get you.
The are many ways to encounter a well organized Kritzkrieg opponent. For example, is to get information from your good organized scouts. ;) If your team is ready for crit-attack it leaves almost no chance of using Kritzkrieg successfully for your enemy. But I agree, if you get a right moment for crits, you can make -6 and win a round. But using Kritzkrieg is a big risk to lose a round if your opponent is \"well organized\". It fully ballanced, I think...

As for medic every option is good:

1. Publics - try to survive and save the uber when attacked from everywhere. ;)
2. Pickups and PCW\'s - medic must think a lot and control a situation around him. Only pickups and PCW\'s can give you that.

So, I play publics (mostly for fun), pickups and pcw\'s every day...
