I must say that you yourself aren\'t making a better example by throwing around banalities and baiting pointlessly. Do try to be less hypocritical the next time you try to humiliate your opponents. It\'s also obvious (from your later comments) that you\'ve joined the torch and pitchfork equipped crowd only due to the weird doctor giving you a bad eye the other day which I find to be somewhat of a bad taste.

It felt like a low level team trying to copy a high level frag movie, and while I never oppose a low level team presenting a frag movie of their own, the lack of originality, incorporated with boring kills, was quite a turn-off. emm... There are sounds in Reptile\'s fragmovie. But very-very quite ones =]
Yes, I was aware of the fact, but decided to present it as an example nevertheless since they are indeed oh so very-very quiet and easy to miss. Yes, I should have mentioned it, but what has been done cannot be undone, and it doesn\'t really matter that much anyway since from your comments the one regarding sound or no sound comes down to subjective taste the most (well, excluding the only positive thing you found in the vid). What made all the difference was you caps\'ing it and calling the lack of sound a failure of epic proportions. :)

if playin vs 2-nd div mix, and they are nubs than ok ))) you are skilled player high++)
Ehm, can you yourself understand what the hell you meant with that? :D
mean.

(-) FaN, non-standart HUD, low+ enemies, simple mid-airs, NO SOUNDS IS AN EPIC FAIL (really)
(+) I haven\'t been killed in this movie
Now, this could have been irony, but in that case it was quite bad. However, if you really did mean it, then I find your complaints weak. FaN is a weapon like any other and quite often used so there\'s no reason to act like including it in a fmovie is some-kinda sacrilege.

Low+ is hardly a minus as long as the frags are interesting and the movie itself well made. And the frags in here are interesting if you look at them in their context, which is low+ context. That\'s called empathy, I believe. Pretty handy trick, that thing. :) This isn\'t so much to you while more for the higher skilled players despising low skilled fmovies and the low-skilled wannabes doing the same. Oh wait ...

Anyway, on with the show - everybody includes mid-airs and, again, from a low+ context I wouldn\'t call them that simple either. Although repeating that triple airshot was rather a minus since we all already saw it in the first time and there is rarely a need to repeat a frag, despite how cool it looked in the creators opinion (hint - it shall probably never look as cool in the viewer\'s view anyway :) ). However, I liked showing the demo+solly taking down half the team from different perspectives.

No sound really isn\'t an epic fail. For an example that you might actually find satisfying, remember Reptile\'s? At least in its heyday since it seems to be cool to dislike it today. Also, while already on the sound, then I quite liked the \'emo shite music\', although I wouldn\'t go as far as to call it original.

Well, I left the Hud for the last since, really, whining about using a custom hud? I\'m impressed, I really am.

So, hmm, despite the occasional lack of sync and the not-so-original headshot messages in the end, I quite enjoyed the 9 minutes so I\'m rather inclined to say a fmovie well made. /clap

I simply dont get how it could be interesting to read a story while NOT playing but simply watching your characters attacking like in a mmo.

I enjoy the diablo/torchlight style :p

Heh, I find it tad ironic since diablo/torchlight gameplay reminds me a mmorpg\'s much more due to the similar endless grinding both gametypes are built upon. I do enjoy at time the mindless clicking through tons of monster inside the gfxporn world of torchlight, but at the same time crave more for the more delicate story-type game with actually much deeper gameplay so, yeah, gonna be DA\'s bitch on this one.

On the matter of missing coop however I must disagree with the apparent prevailing consensus. I don\'t really see how this kind of gameplay would be able to suit a coop game since I doubt most coopers search for a game in which to cooperate in a very tactical and quite slow way, never forgetting the constant pausing. Hell, I wouldn\'t want to play something akin to that, and I\'m enjoying the DA\'s way immensely. Borderlands however has little depth and is so much more suitable for coop. Unlike DA it also loses most of its charm when played alone, so, uh, yeah.

This topic is inherently doomed since if you tell a fool that he\'s a fool he\'s just going to act as a fool he is. On the other hand calling somebody a fool without any basis is just going to make the person in question (in case the person really is not a fool) just to sigh. Our dear topic-creator however decided to choose the third way - that is to call everybody a fool forcing half of them to sigh and the other half to rise infuriated. Hence letting the intended point to just get lost in the banal interactions that followed (not that the first post was that far from such as well). Which might be funny if not so depressing. Which actually is funny. He he.
