Pyro:
1. Increase the power and range of her shotgun
2. Make the flaregun an addition rather than a sub for the shotgun
3. Introduce a pull-back function to pull enemies closer
4. Make the flamethrower destroy stickies
5. Enable the push-back to combine with jump for extra height

Even then it\'s unlikely to be used until leagues go CL1

So you don\'t want people to watch you play an entire match, but would rather take extracts from those matches (the good parts - the few seconds of quality or luck) and make a frag video instead?

It\'s not like watching the STV demos are going to enlighten people to your game plan. It\'s not as if people aren\'t aware that demomen will randomly spam nades across the map and place stickies behind walls then right click.

I think most people will watch the STV demos just to enjoy the game, not all of us spend our lives glued to TF2. STV demos allow us to watch great games in our own time.

Cheers (???)

I agree with Scary. The game was never designed for competitive play, classes were designed with a skill level attached to them, enabling lower skills players to enjoy reasonable success and feel part of the team. Demoman is the class of choice for many low skilled players, because of its unbalanced skill to damage ratio, when used by mid or high skilled players the demoman becomes by far the strongest class in TF2, so much so that he can be succesful with minimal medic support during matches.

This move by ETF2L will made games far more interesting to watch, especially on maps such as ctf_turbine or cp_granary which can be totally locked down by using two demomen.

I had the kritz on me last night for a war. It relies on the ability to take down the uber-charging medic twice in a round, for example badlands, once at middle and once again at final point. If everything goes right then you win a round in less than 2 mins, if it goes wrong it goes horribly wrong.

Failure to close off final point in time, or a failed attack run, shifts the balance of play in favor of the enemy team with uber, allowing them to push back to middle point quite easily. It\'s still a risky option - especially with ETF2L still allowing two demomen. In fact the use of kritz does encourage teams to which to two demo to defend final.

Again Valve have failed to balance the class system, the medic unlocks didnt go far enough, the pyro unlocks changed nothing to competitive play and now the heavy unlocks, which should of made the class more viable without a medic, actually do the opposite.

The sandvich needed to be included as an addition to what already existed, not as a substitute for the shotgun (an essential weapon for the heavy).
