New video uploaded, is a bit different this one than the normal, I wouldn\'t record this but I was mentoring a div 4 clan (after a previous day where I had spectated/watched and commentated as to what is wrong and see their basic flaws).

So I mentored as medic, and the comms are okay but way too much had to be said to guide the team, if you compare it to the pov video of me with infused for example you can tell the difference. Anyway this should help alot of people trying to learn and what makes the difference in divisions, it\'s frankly to do with the knowledge of \"x\" things with the pace of \"y\" needing to be done.

As I can\'t retrieve the cp_gullywash demo from the ESH final between Epsilon vs Infused, I can do analysis on another demo if people are willing to upload the .dem file.

I have some time this weekend, what I\'m looking for is a worthy demo that all skill ranges can pick up on, so if for example you think

equilibrium vs qn\' is a worthy game to analyse then say so...

Or another example is point of view demos of a particular class, if it\'s medic better be src tv as then I can use the health of players and what\'s being healed etc.

100% agree. Tbh, Byte is one of the most elitist players in the scene. He masks it well, but his attitude towards pickups is a dead give away. I know I\'ll get flamed for this, but I don\'t care.

Besides, I don\'t get it. Lots of players that are div1 or prem now learned the ropes in the old pug2 channel. You have any idea how many games Kaidus and I played in that shit for example. It also got me noticed in terms of my scout play and I ended up in a div 2 (would be div 1 these days) level team.
Bless, if you think that fair enough it\'s your opinion :), however stay on topic please.

Cheers

Bringing ppl in for pug2 is not the solution at all, pug2 is a luxury meant for those who like to play a game of tf2 without retardness (to a certain degree).

The skill gap between, Prem, div 1 and div 2 was big enough, however now due to all the quality premiership teams non-existing, myself and baerbal have been inviting many who are div 2/3.

Go back to the topic in hand, getting ppl in the pug2 is not the solution, we need leaders (i.e. proper men) who can lead a team. To get these \'quality\' leaders you need to train them to be able to understand the game, to do that you need elitist c**t\'s to get their head out of their ass and actually put the time and effort in to help you \'lesser skilled\' people.

Sorry but if you look at every top premiership team thats come and gone, think why it\'s folded, not because 1 player had to leave and go to the army, or jus got kicked but because usually the leader decides to call it a day and the team falls apart.

Cheers

Is pretty simple anty, understanding this game is not difficult, mastering team play is (amongst 6 alpha male\'esque newbs). To understand this, effort is required in the form of help/aiding, something which the premiership players of the past and present can\'t manage due to their genuinely busy life or genuinely bum life that they have.

Over the years the top elite players (the majority) have not helped the lesser ones to come through the ranks. The more skilled players available, then the more \'valuable\' and \'prem like\' teams are able to compete and make it worth while.

How can you expect a player to become \"prem\" just by playing if he has no direction and no teaching? Think about how you got to your position anty, and how you are an established medic and why ;) and no it wasn\'t because you were in Blame| :x

You were given the chance, just like numlocked was given one just like jh was given one just like Torden was like predz was, like Mike was like Rulah was and so on and so on.

All given a chance but only because they asked for help and they got it from the one or two top premiership players.

Fix this first, then you will get new teams in premiership and ones that can compete against Infused and Epsilon easily. Hence I was majorly annoyed at Cyber being dropped, he\'s an up and coming demoman and frankly give him 1 season as demo in prem he\'d learn ten folds, and then the following season he would rip apart most demomen/scouts/soldiers :)

Just needs that chance and he was denied it, if TCM was up and running I would bring him in just to get a fresh player into prem so that another good team could be formed and compete at the top. He\'s just one example I can name 1 or 2 more that haven\'t been given the chance and who genuinely want to be in prem.

Cheers
Looks good. Some areas to focus on for future videos would be the camera work and perhaps scripting it before hand to keep it as concise as possible. If you can explain something clearly in a few words then it\'s much more effective. These are things which I\'m sure you will iron out with time anyway but I thought it worth noting. Looks very promising and the annotations add a lot to the analysis, gj.
Yeah the camera movements wasn\'t the best, but it already took me 6hours roughly to do the whole thing, I figured if people want this I can\'t spend that much time to tweak camera settings, i.e. do a cfg to specify spec_pos and so on.

But thanks for the feedback.

Cheers

3 new videos up, is a series of cp_badlands analysis from the game we saw a couple of days ago between Infused.tt vs Epsilon the etf2l Season 10 premiership finals. I figured rather than doing it all in 1 clip i.e. 1hour and 38mins clip I\'d do it in 30minutes segments.

Used an overlay to show marking and territory amongst other things, hope it helps there\'s alot you can pick up just from how I mark the videos.

Anyway hope it helps, took more time to do but is MUCH more effective I think.
