Some companies do that? Forcing people to use shit software sounds like a retards idea tbh
I would understand if it were software that only they had, but still. Something as simple as a browser?
IE can be centrally controlled via policies using standard microsoft tools. A corporation would have to program that functionality themselves for Firefox/Chrome, so it\'s simply easier to stick with IE.

When it comes down to it, IE isn\'t that much worse than firefox and chrome, so it\'s a small sacrifice.

Plus, by limiting users to 1 browser you minimize support costs and website incompatabilites on the corporate intraweb.

Recently acquired the sennheiser PC360 to replace my ageing and broken HD580\'s and steelseries 5hv2 (also broken :D). Sound quality is not quite on the same level as the HD580s, but the convenience of having only 1 headset so I don\'t have to switch between 2 headsets all the time is a nice plus. The PC360s are also fairly balanced unlike most gaming headsets which are \"tuned for hearing footsteps\" etc. making them god awful for music or movies. My only real complaint is that the bass is a little muddy compared to the HD580s, otherwise it\'s mostly just as good, and has a mic!

Also, I find the PC360s very comfortable, but then I also found the HD580s very comfortable so that\'s no real suprise. I vastly prefer circumaural designs as I find the headphones pressing on my ears to be very annoying.

How does bigger capacity equal faster read/wite speed? Thats a new to me.
Larger HDDs have a higher platter density, so the reader head will scan over more capacity at a faster rate. Plus larger HDDs tend to have larger caches which speed up performance.

As for PSU, 450W should be sufficient if it\'s a quality brand. Many cheap brands produce PSUs that cannot deliver their rated wattage, and/or fail disastrously if they are put under too much load.

Dual channel memory doubles the available memory bandwith, but since most applications (What most desktop users run) are not memory bandwith bound, it rarely affects performance by more than a couple of percent. There is no reason not to go for dual channel tho.
you changed 3 players, that\'s more than 50%, and it doesn\'t matter if they\'re offclassing or not, sorry.
While my math abilities may have taken permanent damage from the above statement, I believe 3/6 is not strictly greater than 50%, but in fact equal to 50%.

Also, quoting the relevant rule:
3.6 Switching line-ups or hijacking teams is not allowed

A team may not be replaced in a competition by a new team or lineup without admin permission. Teams can be qualified as ‘new’ if none or very few of the lineup at the start of the season or cup are still active and participating. We will look at teams breaking this rule and holds the right to remove them from the league. Any decisions made will be at the full discretion of the admin team and all circumstances will be taken into account. If your team is facing extreme lineup changes please contact an admin.
I would say 50% is borderline to an \"extreme lineup change\", but as the rule says, it\'s at the admins discretion. I could definately see the argument fall either way.

No. RAM, in contrary to most PC parts change their prices up and down depending on exchange rates, supply and demand. VGAs and CPUs keep going down in prices because there is always a new architecture every half-year/year, first time DDR3 RAM architecture introduced was like 4 years ago, new RAM sticks and speeds are for enthusiasts and not concerning the market\'s majority. Also producing a new RAM architecture will make the old ones go up in price and not go down, right now the RAM prices are pretty cheap so grabbing more RAM can be cheaper than getting them later. (May keep going down though, but its like gambling)
RAM prices go down, just like all other components. The process they\'re made on gets ever smaller, so there is in fact new \"architectures\" (process shrinks) similar in steps to intels \"ticks\". Essentially the ram analogy of intels tick tock model is more like Tock Tick Tick Tick Tick Tock Tick.... The reason the price change is so bumpy with RAM is because the RAM producers have a tendency to flood the market (look at the taiwanese manufacturers).
