Skybox replacement

Followed skyride’s tutorial, but it it doesn’t work for me, i am getting pink/black thingy insteed of my skybox. What i am doing wrong? :<

Have you deleted the .vtf files by any chance? Also did you definately use the skyboxinstall.bat script?
as i did it(based on skyride’s tut):
if it’s a rar, named mpa112:
extract->copy to the materials/skybox folder->run the script: number of map and name of the skybox, ie. mpa112->start the game, be happy :D
It’s not working for me at all :)
Sorry for hijack but it keeps telling me that I entered the wrong name despite saying “desert” over 9000 times correctly :)
i use the pldx.cfg, not the tool
if you use the tool, you could do that you run the .bat file in your folder but then you copy the renamed files into materials/skybox folder of the pldx tool

You shouldn’t, I was just checking you hadn’t. :P
Also, it won’t make a difference whether you are using the PldX tool, config, or even just normal game as long sv_pure = 0.
