hey,
so uh, my mouse, which is a hama urage evo has been recently doing double, even triple clickling when I press it once. is there a way to fix, or would I need to buy a new mouse? I have only dropped it once, and this has been happening long time after I dropped it.

check if the manufacturer has a possible patch for updating since it could be a software problem.

happened with an old mouse of mine.

the thing is it worked fine for ~6 months, and now it started doing it. if I press it at the very top of the left mouse button it works fine. but if I press around the center then it double clicks.

New mouse required mate, normally the sign of a mouse dying unfortunately, nothing you can do to fix it other than replacing the physical part(s).

It’s called “switch bounce”. Sometimes can be fixed by blowing some compressed air into the clicker. You’d have to open the mouse and locate the clickers beneath the buttons.
