Hey

I have a samsung Syncmaster SA700 and a HD 6850. And I setted the 120Hz in windows, and in CCC. But when I launch team fortress 2 (full screen) it goes black for a second and then the refreshrate is set to 60hz in CCC. Any idea how I can fix this?

If you need any more info say it! :)

Basic info:
– Windows 7
– HD 6850
– Samsung Syncmaster SA700
– Catalyst version 13.1
– Version 2D : 8.01.01.1278
– Version 3D: 9.14.10.0945

Cheers

There is a commandline option for forcing refresh rate, forgot what it was but if you google you can find it.

There is a fix, well its not the best solution but it works for me with refresh rates above 120

-nod3d9ex -refresh 120 -full if i dont use the -nod3d9ex the screen just goes black.

See if it helps. Cheers

I’ve tried refreshlock without any success. I’ve tried stuntz solution but it also doesn’t work, the screen goes black for a second when it’s done loading the menu of the game, then goes back to the menu and my refreshrate in ccc is 60Hz again :(

Weird stuff, you sure its on the 1st DVI port? Have your tried like different drivers, as in rollback to default?
