Hello, my question is simple :

Is it possible to run a MGE or DM server on my computer to play with my friends on lan ?

If yes, how ? I haven’t found any tuto/topic about it.

Well you have a 2 options.

1) Run a “listen server”, which is just a fancy name for typing “map cp_badlands” into your TF2’s console while at the main menu, and then having your friend connect. Doing it that way means your copy of tf2 running on your PC is doubling as the server. Unfortunately you can’t install sourcemod on a client (thanks valve for removing this purposely).

2) Set up a dedicated server. What I would say is this is a bit more effort than it sounds, but once it’s set up its not too difficult. Here’s a brilliant how-to on it.

(Note: you need to manually make your server.cfg)

Probably because your settings we incorrect. I’ve set one up at LAN before with no issues.
