HELP I CANT DESTROY BUILDINGS

When I’m playing engie I can’t take my destroyer out, when I press 5 nothing happens…
help =[
btw I’ve tried to bind “slot5” to a key and still nothings happens, also tried with the invprev and invnext command without autoswitch, when you see the little weapon icons at the side of your screen, there is no destroyer there :(

I’ve had the same problem for ages, would also appriciate help. :P i tried changing config files etc but no use.
i can’t change class with my 1-9 so i need to mouse it :C
Didn’t they remove the “build x” commands?
Maybe there is a fast build / destroy script like that in your config.
You could try starting with -autoconfig, see if that works.
Have you been watching other peoples demos? I watched one of lolage last night and ended up trying to play with some fucked up config or other…. Had to go through and re-assign all my keys.
Sadly I am a total retard and have no idea how to do what you suggest. Thanks anyway, maybe a bigger boy could explain it to me sometime.

Right click on your config file
Click properties
Select read only
:)
try
bind “F1” “e1”
alias e1 “build 2;destroy 2;”
F1 to show the sentrie(destroy if one is built), RMB to rotate, LMB to begin constructing.

Hmmm, that sounds easy enough even for me….I’ll try it when I get home, cheers.
the thing is i tried -autoconfig and different configs, tried removing the hud and nothing worked.. =[
