Hello everybody,

I am planning to buy a new computer, however, I would like to sell my old one in order to have some initial capital.

The computer is in a very good condition. It is fast, runs all the games (Well, like TF2, Dota 2 etc :D) , a bit out dated though, because the hardware developed SO MUCH in these 3 years :D, but I am very big noob in these kind of things.

Could somebody tell me which price could sound reasonable? I don’t want to sell it for too little money.

There are the SPECS:

1) Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Ranger
2) CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 3.5GHz
3) RAM: Crucial Ballistix Smart Tracer 4GB DDR3 (2 RAMS each 4GB, 8GB in total)
4) GPU: Gigabyte GF GTX770 2gb GDDR5 (Nvidia Geforce GTX770)
5) SSD: Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB SATA3
6) HDD: Western Digital Se 1TB 7200RPM SATA3 128mb (2 inside)
7) CPU Cooler: Cooler Master HYPER 212 EVO Universal Cooler
8) PSU: Enermax ATX 2.31 LEPA G 80+ 800W
9) Case: Fractal Design Define R4 Titanium Grey

I hope I haven’t really missed anything. I just want to sell this PC and add up the money from the sale for my new PC.

I am also considering to sell it together with my old Samsung 120hertz monitor (I hope Arie is not going to be angry :D), because I would like to purchase a new monitor too.

Hoping for your price suggestions, my friends!

Cheers!

P.S. I also considered about selling parts from it, however, I am not sure if that could be the best option.

I hope that monitor served you well Mirelin :)

I think you should consider keeping your current computer and just upgrading certain components:
* Upgrade to GPU to GTX 1060/1070/1080
* Upgrade RAM to 16GB

To add to what Arie said:
Add 2x4GB (same speed/timings), but only if you want/need more RAM.
If that’s a 4690K then overclock it.
If not then you could look for a (probably used) 4670K, 4690K, 4770K or 4790K.

EDIT: @qubes: Doesn’t matter if the 1050 Ti is a good budget GPU or not, it’s not any faster than a 770 so unless it’s free it’s not worth considering.
