Does anyone have any other recommendations for spacey 4x games apart from Endless Space? :0)

Obligatory Civilization.
Maybe some of the Heroes of Might and Magic games?
According to Wikipedia, Paradox’s Grand Strategy games and the Total War series are 4X games, though they’re maybe not what you’re looking for(?)

If you like the theme better maybe you’ll appreciate it more. Then there are the Master of Orion games. They’re pretty old, but the second one was very important.
