Considering arma2 has pretty realistic bullet physics, any supersonic bullet would hit you before you’d hear the shot. However, most of the time you won’t die instantly but fall down and bleed for a bit… surely you’d hear the gunshot?
Also, still waiting for that “when you log out your player model stays frozen on the server for 10 seconds” to fix the escape-logouts.
The other 2 guys didn’t the shots that killed me either. It was very strange. Anyway were past that now, got semi-decent gear again. Opened a tent on UK9, its all good.
Could have been a M4A1 Camo SD, with 200m range and an audible range of 0.35m, doubt you would hear that. Pretty sure I was once killed from it as well, didnt hear the shot, only the bullet hitting me. Or a silenced MP, those have only 100m range but the audible range is also lower (0.1m).

My best bet is that it’ll be cheaper when the Summer Sale comes out.

Rocket said that you will save zombies that are around you, so if you leave your zombies follow. The issue is with disconnects when being shot at, the problem being is if your player stays and you leave legitimately you can still be killed.

Except that’s just Operation Arrowhead, on the official site is Combined Operations.
It’s only 15 euros, you can use the free demo of Arma II and then pay 15 for Operation Arrowhead.

was playing with shintaz minimoose and raymon earlier. thought shin was a nice guy, was helping me out, led me to some good supplies and was showing me around town. then we got to the church, said we were gonna camp out there for a bit before we headed off to his camp. but when he said we, he didn’t mean all of us…
straight up clubbed minimoose in the face when he wasn’t even looking. killed him with one swing. left his body there in the church and told me to pick him clean. i didn’t know the cost for friendship was so high :/
im sorry minimoose. rest in peace. you will be missed :(

He kept on saying RIP to me in steam chat throughout the day, I think he planned it all along.
