These guys are so, so so insane.
They have been building middle earth in Minecraft, based on the LOTR books.
They showed Jessy cox ( american ) some of the world.
What I saw was so epic, there is no different word for it.
This week Jesse joins http://www.minecraftmiddleearth.com and together with his fellowship, ventures from the Shire to Moria, in part one of what is sure to be a 3 part masterpiece of minecrafting ability. Made almost entirely by hand, build to a 1:3 and 1:4 scale ratio – the first world TO DATE to reach the terrain boarders of what the minecraft software is able to render – this is just about THE MOST amazing thing ever created. … dare I say… it’s my preeeeccccciioooooous?

It starts slow, but it is really epic later on in the video.

I wonder how much time they’ve spent on this. Either dozens if not hundreds of people for months or they started over a year ago. Probably both.

generally lots and lots of ppl following the same plan, i was playing with some friends recently and we made some huge stuff. but it never took long with like 20 of us all coming online at different times.
