Gaming Keyboards?

Recently my old keyboard broke and now, using an even shittier one than earlier I wonder, what use do gaming keyboards have? Are they just normal keyboards with a nice design? And, what keyboard would you recommend and why?

mechanical, everything else is just a waste. I use the steelseries 6gv2, and I like it
Logitech G510.
You got some nice Macro keys ( The G keys)
so you can make key bind on it with alot of game
You can also add some profiles, if you have more users behind your keyboard.
Nice colors (Like it personal)
Disable Windows Key
And every gameing keyboard have some soft keys ;)
You have also Gamepads. made by Razer, logitech. never played with that.
Got that one. Would recommend it, coz it’s relatively cheap, is quiet while typing, has nice sense of pressure on the keys (don’t know if those are the correct words^^).
But it doesn’t have Macro-Keys.

Ye I got one of these at i40, still going strong.
Anyways was going to ask since peripherals aren’t my strong suit, has anyone got a good comparison between the DAS keyboards and the steelseries 6gv2?
Get the steelseries, Das Keyboard has ugly shiny plastic. No difference in quality really. Whatever you buy, buy mechanical. Macro keys are for scrubs.

Logitech G11 is nice and cheap, It’s not mechanical but I’ve had mine for 3 years I think. No problems at all
Just wondering, are there any good mechanical keyboards without numpad out there?
Looking for a keyboard too, but im quite the nub when it comes to keyboards.

filco tenkeyless series, brown/ black / or blue switches i guess
available in europe in keyboard company.com something like that ( didnt found anywhere else )

unless you use macro’s dont bother with a gaming keyboard for fps’s
